Welcome to Wildwood Wanderers.
I’m Kate, artist, builder, collector of moss and weathered branches, and the hands behind everything you’ll find here. I live in rural Nova Scotia surrounded by forests, rivers, wildlife, and the kind of quiet that makes you slow down and notice things.
Most days you’ll find me wandering the woods collecting birch bark, twisted twigs, moss, and other natural materials, working in my garden or greenhouse, building signs, creating woodland decor, or dreaming up fairy furniture and one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the landscape around me.
I’ve been creating since I was young, but Wildwood Wanderers became something more out of a desire to build a simpler, more meaningful life connected to nature and creativity. Every piece is handmade by me using sustainably gathered materials whenever possible, embracing the imperfections, textures, and character that make nature beautiful in the first place.
I’m drawn to things that feel a little wild, a little whimsical, and deeply rooted in the natural world, pieces that look like they belong in a hidden garden, an old cottage, or tucked beneath the trees in the forest.
Wildwood Wanderers is a reflection of the life I’ve built here — slower, creative, connected to the land, and inspired by the beauty found in nature’s imperfect details.
